Dr. Vincent Sun is a vitreoretinal surgeon at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). After completing Ophthalmology residency at McGill, he undertook sub-specialty fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (NEEI). He returns to Montreal after serving as an assistant professor on the retina service of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr Sun is a recognized expert in diseases of the vitreous and retina that are amenable to surgical and other treatments. Examples of these surgeries are retinal detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes and complications of diabetic eye disease amongst many others. 

Dr Sun also treats patients with macular degeneration and other conditions requiring intravitreal eye injection treatments.
