The Institute
We place importance on ensuring a convivial patient care setting rich in natural light. Our staff takes great pride in knowing our patients personally and identifying their unique needs. The Institute contains the latest technologies in diagnostic and therapeutic retinal devices.
Architecturally, the Institute was designed to allow proper patient flow through the many stages of the clinical evaluation process. Furthermore, we are particularly proud of our information technology backbone which ensures safe data storage and transmission.

Dr. Amer Omar
Ophtalmologist
Dr. Omar is a recognized expert in the diagnosis and management of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, posterior segment uveitis and ophthalmic genetics.
Research
Research plays an integral part in the functioning and day to day operation of the institute. All staff have a vested interest in advancing patient care through the pursuit of tangible solutions for both common and rare retinal pathologies. We actively participate in both local and multi-centre trials.
